English Literary Phrontistery Forum (ELPF)
The Department of English launched the English Literary Phrontistery Forum (ELPF—a place for learning, thinking, examining, and studying) on August 30, 2023, for the benefit of the student community. The chief objectives of the forum are to enhance the students’ LSRW skills, to facilitate the students’ competitive skills related to the English language, to aid the students’ verbal communication, to kindle students’ thirst for reading in English, and to mould students as critics of films, literature, society, etc. By means of this forum, we are giving hands-on training to the students, conducting various guest lectures, diverse activities, and competitions to enhance students’ language competence and kindle their hidden talents. This forum encourages the activities such as LSRW activities, Review competitions, MoC script preparation, Speaking fluency tests, JAM (just a minute), Storytelling, Creative Writing, Role play, Poetry recitation, Declamation and Quizzes etc.
