Arulmigu Arthanareeswarar Arts and Science College was established in the year 2021 by Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment (HR & CE) Department, Government of Tamil Nadu and it is administrated by Arulmigu Arthanareeswarar Temple, Tiruchengode. It is a Self-Finance, Co-Education college which is affiliated to Periyar University, Salem to cater the educational needs of the students from rural and underprivileged background. This college is opened by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nādu on 01.12.2021. The College is located in the serene ambience and is vaunted with an ideal infrastructure, well-furnished classrooms, well-stacked library and computer laboratory with high-speed internet connection. The significant feature of this college is ‘To provide Quality Education with an affordable fee’.The chief aim of the college is to fulfill the educational needs of the underprivileged students by sharpening their hidden talents through critical thinking and innovative insights. As on date, the college offers four Under Graduate Degree programmes such as Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.),Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Science (Computer Science – B.Sc. CS), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and one Certificate Course (Saiva Ilakkiyam). Further in our college Our Government’s ‘Naan Mudhalvan’ Scheme as well EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Cell), WEC (Women Empowerment Cell), Placement Cell and other cells are functioning well. Our college has dedicated teaching fraternity with UGC qualifications and vast experience. It persists to march forward with relentless vigour, keeping its vision and mission lucidly. Besides the university curriculum teaching, the college instills in students the wide spectrum of knowledge including practical exposures via conferences, seminars, workshops and guest lecturers and industrial visits at frequent intervals and also for sports activities. The teaching faculties train the young minds to uplift them in the society with quality education and ethics.
